Description

This new course is designed to enhance your knowledge and practical skills in the diagnosis and management of allergic disease. Following successful completion of the course you will have an enhanced understanding of allergic disease, with a particular focus on applying this knowledge to clinical situations, to inform decision making and practice.  

This course is designed for those who have a basic understanding of allergic disease and may have attended single study days in the past, but are looking to deepen their knowledge of allergic disease.

Teaching methods will comprise six taught study days, completion of the BSACI competency document and completion of 37.5 hours practical hours in a relevant clinical setting.  There is the option to add academic accreditation at level 6 or 7, as part of a Work Based Learning module with Kings College London.

This course may benefit you if you are and would like to undertake a module in allergic disease as part of a degree or masters pathway.

Programme Dates

7th & 8th September 2016: Core Block One

11th & 12th January 2017: Core Block Two

15th & 16th March 2017: Respiratory and Skin Allergy

7th & 8th June 2017: Food Allergy



Grant recipients

If you are receiving a £650 grant, use the "Grant (M1)" instead of the "Module 1" option so you can pay for the first module with no charge to you.
