Dental Alumni Weekend 2023 will take place on 3^rd- 4^th March 2023.

The Hygienists’ and Therapists’ Specialist Section Meeting will take place on Friday 3^rd March in the Function Room,  Floor 18 Tower Wing Guys Hospital, from 1330 - 1700.  

The Staff and Alumni Drinks Reception and Straumann Annual Dental Dinner will take place on Friday evening 3^rd March, at the Tower Hotel, St Katherines Way E1.  This promises to be an exciting evening with the usual excellent meal, prize giving, raffle and entertainment.  We particularly look forward to welcoming reunion groups who qualified 10, 20, 25 and 30 years ago.

Dental Alumni Weekend continues with Clinical Day on Saturday 4^th March in Guy’s Tower. This year’s programme includes the Keynote lectures in memory of Professor Rod Cawson and Professor Walter Herbert, this year given by Professor Jonathan Shepherd and Dr Saoirse O’Toole respectively.   We are running a special session on the topic of “Can Dentistry be more sustainable?”    If you are unable to join us on the day in person then we will be live streaming all the morning sessions and will be available online to review later by registering.

  The Executive Dean, Professor Michael Escudier, he will again be hosting The Dean’s Lunch in the Robens Suite.   After lunch there will be opportunity to visit some of the recently re-furbished clinical teaching facilities, with hands-on demonstrations of the advanced haptic simulators as well as a range of scanning software.
