Additional ItemsMore InformationTUTORIALS* There is a choice of two tutorials in the morning and two in the afternoon, which are intended to give tutees a grounding in essential basic points which will underpin the rest of the meeting. All guest attending tutorials must complete the questionnaire to indicate their tutorial preferences at the booking stage. Please note that tutorials are only for students, newcomers to the field or post-docs who must be less than 3 years since their PhD. *(only for students and newcomers to complement) CALL FOR ABSTRACTS We invite submissions of abstracts by PhD students and post-Docs on areas of emerging research relevant to complement. We would like to ask Principal Investigators to encourage their students and post-docs to present posters as it affords an excellent opportunity for initiating and furthering collaborations, and to your team to discuss their work with others in the field. Poster abstracts will be assessed by the organising committee, and those scoring highest will be invited for oral presentation during the training day. There will be prizes for best poster and oral presentation. A completed abstract submission form should be returned to Anna Taliadoros at [email protected] by Monday, February 6th, 2023. To download an abstract submission form, please visit https://complement.org.uk/conference/. A draft programme is available on the Complement UK website https://complement.org.uk/conference/. ACCOMMODATION Please note that accommodation must be booked separately, and that there is no on-site accommodation. There are several accommodation providers close to the event including Mercure, Clayton, Sleeperz or Sandrigham, and Cardiff has also a range of options from budget hotels/hostels upward. We recommend using the Visit Cardiff website to search for accommodation at https://www.visitcardiff.com/. DINNER The organisers are inviting all attending the conference to join them for a conference dinner on Monday 3rd April at Aberdare Hall. This event is free to all delegates, but the capacity is limited so only book and reserve the place if you will definitely attend |
