Date of Event
27th January 2023
Last Booking Date for this Event
27th January 2023

Description

This educational meeting is aimed primarily at clinicians who treat patients with diseases of the peripheral nervous system and muscle.  It aims to provide practical general clinical up-dates as well as an introduction to the science underlying neuromuscular diseases.  It should be of interest to general adult neurologists, clinical neurophysiologists, paediatric neurologists, clinical neuroscientists and allied health professionals, and suitable for both consultants and trainees.

Start time 09.00, finish 17.00. There will be 10 lectures, each 25 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions, with breaks for lunch and coffee. Programme: to be confirmed around October.

The format will be a hybrid of face-to-face and online webinar. We hope to meet many of you in person, for traditional networking opportunities. Most lecturers will attend in person.

To encourage a live audience, we are offering free lunch/coffee for those attending in person. Registration will be the same cost whether you attend in person or virtually. Please specify when booking whether you intend to come in person so we can order catering. So as not to waste food, please tell [email protected] if this changes. The deadline for catering orders is 10 days in advance, so people registering after 17 January are not guaranteed to get any food although may still attend in person.

You will be emailed a link for the virtual event a few days in advance. This link will also allow viewing a recording of the event for a few months afterwards.

If you register on the day there may be a delay of up to an hour before you receive the link because our administrator has to do this manually.

Organisers:

  • Dr Rob Hadden, Consultant Neurologist
  • Dr James Burge, Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist
  • Dr James Bashford, NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Neurology
