Frontiers in Transplantation - Clinical Excellence through Innovation

Description

The Tenth Edition of the King's course Frontiers in Transplantation: Clinical Excellence through Innovation will run on 29 and 30 April as a virtual event. As in previous years, the course will focus on the innovative and unique aspects of the clinical science in transplantation that are taking place within King's. The emphasis this year will be on problems facing a transplant in sensitised individuals with HLA antibodies, mechanisms of AMR, novel strategies to prevent AMR by targeting complement or coagulation systems, mechanisms of immunological tolerance and novel ways to induce it and current and next generation Treg therapies.

Optimising Kidney Utilisation 2022

Description

The course will be hosted by clinicians from Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust: Mr Chris Callaghan (consultant transplant surgeon), Mr Jonathon Olsburgh (consultant transplant surgeon) and Dr Rachel Hilton (consultant nephrologist). They will be joined by other consultants from the Trust and across the UK
