An introduction to Implementation Science is aimed at anyone interested in improving health and social care services and outcomes. This course has been developed by King’s College London with our partners at Kingston University, St. George’s University of London and the University of East Anglia. It covers the core scientific principles and investigative methodologies of implementation science. It has a strong theoretical underpinning, drawing upon theories, frameworks and models that can be used for planning, development, implementation and evaluation of health and care interventions. Equally, it has a strong practical focus, providing students with tools, checklists and other resources that can be applied to the development of interventions in different health and care settings.
This introductory module will provide you with the basic knowledge required to conduct implementation research or to apply the implementation theories and frameworks to your practice.
