DescriptionThe twenty-fourth edition of the Academic Practice and Technology conference will take place on Friday 19th June 2026. The conference will be hosted at King’s College London, in the Great Hall on the Strand campus. The year’s central theme is: Business as usual: Scholarly practice in a transformed/transforming digital landscape. This conference will run as an in-person event and the conference design will again hope to maximise the benefits of face-to-face interactions by encouraging the submission of engaging and participatory activities such as workshops and round tables, to discuss, reflect on ideas and further develop our APT community. Event Location![]() More InformationThe design of this year’s conference will maximise the benefits of face-to-face methods using high engagement and participation activities such as workshops, round tables and open space dialogue to discuss and reflect on ideas and further develop our APT community. We will invite attendees to engage with asynchronous resources and use them as a starting point for real-time activities at the live in-person event. Building on three years of focus on Generative AI in Education, we wish to continue to provide a platform to discuss and share relevant work in this space. We are focusing on 5 main sub-themes:
Participants are invited to critically reflect and explore ways in which they are developing their practice using technology.
