UX Day for Higher Education 2026Info Location Contact More Info Event Information![]()
Description14th May 2026 9am - 17:00pm + Networking UX Day is a one-day conference bringing together UX practitioners working accross the Higher Education sector. It is designed as a space for open exchange between researchers, academics, designers, product managers, and developers who are navigating the particular complexities of universities and academic institutions. The focus of the day is practical rather than theoretical. We are interested in real projects, real constraints, and real institutional contexts: what it means to conduct user research within governance structures, how to introduce product thinking into legacy systems, how to design for both students and staff, and how to build UX culture in environments shaped by competing priorities. Above all, UX day seeks to strengthen connections across institutions. By sharing approaches, tools, and work practices, participants will have the opportunity not only to showcase their work but also to build relationships, exchange ideas, and develop a more cohesive UX community within Higher Education. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. We are inviting both speakers and participants to take part in our upcoming event. If you would like to speak, please submit your proposal by Thursday 23rd April via this form. We will shortlist proposals on Tuesday 28th April, and successful speakers will then be invited to complete their full application from that date. The attendance fee for speakers will be subsidised to £25. We look forward to your submissions! Click on the "More Info" tab for further information.
