St Thomas MRCS Revision Courses 2026 DescriptionSt. Thomas’ Hospital MRCS Part B OSCE Revision Course The St. Thomas’ MRCS Course is a consultant-led, five-day intensive programme designed to comprehensively prepare candidates for the MRCS Part B examination. Throughout the week, participants cover a broad range of MRCS topics, including anatomy, physiology, pathology, critical care, communication skills, and orthopaedics. The programme concludes with a mock OSCE to consolidate your knowledge, build confidence ahead of the examination, and identify your strengths and areas for improvement. Originally established in 1955 by vascular surgeons at St. Thomas’ Hospital as an FRCS preparation course, the St. Thomas’ MRCS Part B Course has a proud history and a longstanding reputation for excellence. You will be taught by experienced surgeons, many of whom once attended the course themselves. Alongside expert exam preparation, the course offers a valuable opportunity to network with fellow MRCS candidates and get to know our faculty. The course is held three times a year, in January, April and September, in the Academic Department of Vascular Surgery at St. Thomas’ Hospital (Waterloo or Westminster stations). The next course will take place from 14–18 September 2026 and applications are now open. Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and we expect the September course to be fully booked.
