Description
Are you a PGT, PGR, or post-doc?
Are you writing a dissertation or paper?
Procrastinating?
Would you like to spend a few days writing in a beautiful setting?
Do you want a chance to discuss your work in a non-judgemental and supportive environment?
If any of the above apply to you, then you’re invited to a writing retreat in the beautiful setting of Worth Abbey, organised by the Chaplaincy. You will have your own bedroom with a desk for writing, and there’ll also be a writing workshop together, along with the chance to discuss your work with others.
There will also be (optional) opportunities for mindfulness meditation, walking in the countryside, or prayer with the Worth Abbey monastic community (see https://worthabbey.net).
The cost is £100, which can be paid in instalments (there are some bursaries of £50 available) - all food and accommodation is provided, but you will need to cover your own transport costs. The nearest railway station is Crawley, and travel arrangements will be confirmed nearer the time.
Spaces are limited, so to find out more and to reserve a place please contact the Revd Jenny Morgans.
