DescriptionOverview This workshop will provide training in the diagnosis of ADHD. Following the course, participants should be able to screen for and diagnose ADHD and distinguish ADHD from other common mental health disorders. Topics Include: How to properly diagnose ADHD Use of Diagnostic interviews (CAADID and DIVA) for diagnosing ADHD Differentiating ADHD in adults from other common mental health disorders. Study Methods A combination of presentations, interactive training, group work and discussion. Who should attend? This workshop is aimed at professionals working within adult mental health and specialist services such as forensic and addiction psychiatry. This is relevant to psychiatrists at all stages of training but also other members of the mental health team including nurses and psychologists. Accreditation The course content has been independently certified as conforming to accepted CPD guidelines.
