King's Academy, Student and Education DirectorateKing's Academy, Student and Education Directorate21st Academic Practice and Technology Conference (APT2023)DescriptionThe 21st Academic Practice and Technology (APT2023) conference will take place on Friday 30th June 2023. The conference will be hosted on the KCL Strand Campus, and it will be preceded by an online conference (Free) on 9th June 23 which will include streamed events and presentations that will be made available on our website: https://reflect.ucl.ac.uk/aptconference/ The registration for the online conference will be available separately on the APT website in Mid-January 23. This annual conference, co-hosted by UCL, LSE and Imperial College London, will return to ‘in person’ mode but with online elements. The design of this year’s conference will maximise the benefits of face-to-face methods using high engagement and participation activities such as workshops, round tables and open space dialogue to discuss and reflect on ideas and further develop our APT community. We will invite attendees to engage with asynchronous resources and use them as a starting point for real-time activities at the live in-person event. We are focusing on 4 main sub-themes: Implications of AI for assessment design and academic integrity, The ethical dimension of AI (data management and more), How to support students and staff to develop new skills, Learning with and through AI. contact [email protected] for fee code.
