DescriptionJoin us as we embark on a dazzling journey through the heart of Westminster, one of the wealthiest boroughs in the Western world, the political heart of Britain and the home of the Royal Family. The Westminster Sightseeing Tour transports you through 1000 years of Britain’s past, exploring the salacious history of the world’s most famous royal family, from William the Conqueror in 1066 to King Charles III today. Hear tales of the monarchs who truly changed the world: the womanising Henry VIII, the regal Queen Victoria, the People’s Princess Diana and of course, the late Queen Elizabeth II. However, there’s more to Westminster than just the Royals. Parliament has been meeting here for 700 years and you will be regaled with tales of our greatest and most controversial leaders, from Winston Churchill to Lord Nelson and even those who fought against them, like wretched Guy Fawkes who tried to blow up Parliament. The Royal London Walking Tour starts at 10.00AM sharp from the Constance Fund Fountain of Diana (next to Green Park station) and finishes in Parliament Square. Please click on the "More Info" tab for further information about this tour and the refund policy. Students should only buy tickets for themselves. These events have been booked for incoming study abroad students only and it is a private tour. Do not buy a ticket on behalf of anyone else. If you have friends or family who want to join the tour, they can book their own tickets directly through the vendor at another date.
