The British Alliance of Researchers in Dental Education and Scholarship (BARDES) looks to connect and support dental education researchers and scholars to deliver an evidence base that informs the future delivery of exceptional dental education. 

Please join us November 14th and 15th 2024, for the BARDES annual Autumn meeting to discuss, learn, present and collaborate around the curricular expectation highlighted by the new ‘Safe Practitioner Framework’  introduced this year by our regulator, the GDC.

Attached is the programme for our conference this year which will be hosted by King’s College London (KCL) and takes place on the Strand campus. 
BARDES  will offer delegates a range of parallel sessions on the afternoon of Thursday 14th Nov, with the option of the Novice  Researchers Workshop, or a Humanities Workshop,  which offers a unique opportunity to experience the innovative pedagogy developed in humanities/clinical humanities modules from Glasgow  and KCL. 

A new feature for this year, for the morning of Thursday 14th November, is the option of attending a joint meeting with the Association of Science Educators in Dentistry (ASEiD)  at no extra cost for BARDES attendees (you will be able to add this during the registration process).

There will also be a presentation lunch from our sponsors on associated educational and research themes of interest to our delegates.

On Friday November 15th we will then continue with our full day BARDES 2024 conference.
