DescriptionThis Cardiac MRI 2 day course aims to deliver a solid background of CMR (Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance) as a clinical application in routine clinical practice. It covers basic MRI safety/physics and focuses on the theory and practical skills involved with carrying out a simple CMR procedure as well as the more complex scans such as Perfusion imaging and Aortogram. The course also cover current topics of interest such as mapping and contrast safety, as well as less explored areas such as Congenital imaging. Attendees will benefit from sessions on tips and tricks to help improve their skills, a session on live scanning and post processing. The newly found knowledge and skills from the course can be embedded in their future practice. Early bird rates are applied to bookings before 4 October 2024.
