Description

Come and enjoy a weekend in the Surrey countryside with members of the Chaplaincy team, and get to know other members of the King’s community. Activities will include muddy walks, visiting a local church, crafting, mindfulness, social quiz, and Christian prayer. All activities are optional, and all members of King’s staff and students are welcome.

ALL PLACES HAVE NOW BEEN BOOKED, PLEASE ONLY PAY IF YOU HAVE A CONFIRMED PLACE FOR THIS EVENT

Wychcroft is a beautiful house with comfortable bedrooms and great food, run by the Church of England’s Diocese of Southwark as a place for groups to spend time; more information is on their website here: https://www.wychcroft.org.   

We will all travel together by train from London to Redhill (we will cover the cost of taxis from Redhill station), and you will need to buy your own train tickets – details of timing to be confirmed nearer the time.  

To book, please pay a deposit of at least £40 before the weekend, and email [email protected] to let us know that you wish to secure a place.  It would then be really helpful if you could pay the balance as soon as you are able to do so. 

If you have any problems with affording payment but would like to join us, do please be in touch, as a limited number of bursaries (reduced costs) may be available.

Refund policy
Except where cancelling within 14 days of the original booking, the deposit payment (£40) will be non-refundable.  Cancellations after 14 days of the original booking may have amounts above the initial deposit payment refunded, except where cancellation is seven days or fewer before the weekend away starts.  No refunds are possible in the case of non-attendance.
